So...it turns out I DON'T have to do three papers. I just have to do ONE project (ie: the Seder meal) and a MINOR exegetical paper (which is really, really simple).

I am super disappointed. Seriously. I had my notes and my books and evidence all over the damn place!

*wails* I wanted to write about David and Jonathan!

Maybe I'll do it anyway. You know, just for the hell of it.

Back to class.

i don't know, finding out if the christian god/jewish god/muslim god has a mate is pretty interesting.

much more interesting than rehashing that old story that everyone knows about. of course jonathan was jonesing for david. duh.

I find it interesting though, because it really stops the moronic Christians who want to prevent gay marriage on the grounds that it's immoral.

And knowing that Yahweh had a feminine side? There are a lot of mystics and scholars who are already aware of it.

The church...just doesn't teach it.
