*is seriously wondering whether she can slip her PotO soundtrack into the college's announcement system*
I could listen to it all day then! But seriously...I feel like crap. I have the stomach flu, con arrangements are just f*'d up, and then there's Corey.
We got together and I'm STILL not sure how I feel about it. And right now, I blame it on school and the flu.
Well, I work today, tommrrow, and HURRAH! Sunday Mom and I are going to see Phantom! Thank Goddess, I was getting withdrawal symptoms. (I really was. You go see it and then see how long you can go without seeing Gerard Butler's hot bod and hearing Emmy's beautiful voice).
As for costumes...they've been revised.

Shaman King has been taken off my list. I can't find the damned dress, and Christine's gown is going to be very hard as it is.
Speaking of...
I have added Christine Daae to my list. Now, before people go all "That's not anime!" I have to counter with..."Yes, it is." Phantom of the Opera was made into a brief manga sometime ago, and therefore...it counts. (Hey, nobody yells at the lost Jedi who always seem to appear at the anime cons. Maybe the Force keeps making them take wrong turns at Albequrque.)
Now, as to which of the gowns...if you've seen the movie, you'll know what I'm talking about. If you HAVEN'T seen the movie...WTF are you doing on the computer! Go see it! Anyway...I'm doing a mixture of the Point of No Return dress (the crushed velvet corset and lace bodice) with the bottom of the wedding gown (which I've found at a thrift shop).
I am still determined to do Hara Kimi, if only because I want that damn top. So I'm still rooting around for a pattern/or look-a-like dress.
I've also changed Seii's assassin uniform. She's been changing in my mind, and considering that The Silver Alliance is in the early Coronation stage...I figured...why not make Seii's coronation gown? (It will also give me an excuse to use the bottom of the Phantom dress again).
I'm still planning on doing Kirika, from Noir, if Nom will do Chloe.
And that's all the anime updates.
As for sewing in general, I'm in the process of making LOTR sleeves, based on Arwen's blood-red dress. But to do that...I need the sewing machine. *snarls at the broken thing* I figure...if I can make sleeves...I can make Seii's gown and Christine's bodice.
School's fine. I'm a bit behind on my Public Speaking, but I've been so ill lately I couldn't care less.
Right now, my life revolves around Phantom, school, cons, and books.
I have little energy for anything, it seems.
