So after I had my wisdom teeth out, I was out of classes for roughly a week.

This is apparently a hint to my professors to pile on the work.

I have an ENORMOUS pile of shit that has to be done in the next three days or so. Ready? Yeah, me neither.

-Write a review on Hoover Dam (Due Weds)

-Study ch. 4,5,6,8 for Econ exam (Friday)

-Write a paper on Metternich and Austria--a book I loathe, despise and cannot understand (Already late--prof's granting me an extension)

-Squeeze sixteen more hours in at work (by next Tues)

-Study ch. 2,3,8,9 for NC history exam (Tomorrow)

-Finish, somehow the three homework assignments I'm behind on in ASIP--which is difficult as the fucking program keeps telling me I'm doing it wrong, when I'm following all directions (Late)

-Deal with the after effects of the oxycodone--which for me meant a week of yo-yo bouncing between manic happiness and furious anger, and now sliding steadily into depression and major stress (Whenever I have time)

-Organize a fucking panel that I cannot seem to get a response on, possibly because of defunct emails (Thursday night)

Not to mention I have mid-terms to start prepping for, and let's not even BEGIN to talk about those long, 18-page papers that will be due at the end of the semester.

Oh, and I'm failing macroeconomics. I thought I was doing well, but nope, failing. I'll be fucking lucky if I get a C, and really, I need a B here.

I've just spent the last few hours combing Google and my textbook about NC during the Revolutionary War and the Constitution, for an exam that is tomorrow, that I'm really, really unprepared for.

To say I've been on the verge of tears all day would not be exaggerating.

This is so not pretty.

This, this studying for my history exam?

Not pretty. AT ALL.

Also? I am discontent.

And my hair? Is getting cut. Very short. I can't stand this "bangs in my eyes" thing anymore.

Need a good, cheap hairstylist, stat.

Also.

Need a very, very good way to punish a cheating bastard. Not for me, for a friend. Breaking of state and local laws highly encouraged.

(I've already thought about pulling the intestines out, thank you darling, it's a very good idea.)

*wails*

So...it turns out I DON'T have to do three papers. I just have to do ONE project (ie: the Seder meal) and a MINOR exegetical paper (which is really, really simple).

I am super disappointed. Seriously. I had my notes and my books and evidence all over the damn place!

*wails* I wanted to write about David and Jonathan!

Maybe I'll do it anyway. You know, just for the hell of it.

Back to class.

Okay, Unspoken Secrets has taken a TOTALLY different direction, never MIND that I've already written the ending, OMG, my muse SUCKS!

*glares at Muse, who glares right back*

Anyway. My speech professor is like, suffering amnesia or something, because he cancelled class AGAIN. So it gives me more time to prepare. So WHAT? I've got a full plate here sir, you want to move this ALONG a little?!?

To date:
Anat. exam tommrrow (fairly well prepared, need to go through it all again)
French exam tonight (well prepared, one more run through before class)
Religion exam due next Mon (easy as pie, my prof rocks!)
Speech exam on Fri (OMG, 6 chapters, reviewing like a manaic)
REENACTMENT! Feb. 26! (Moore's Creek, I have to finish my cloak!)
Possible photoshoots in the next month (Anywhere from 2-5, have to finish anwsering all my emails)

ABOUT THE REENACTMENT:

ASTROPHEL! Leave a note on whether you're going. IM, LJ, RL, I don't care. Just let me know. Thanks!

Seriously, nothing else...except I need to see Phantom again. NEED, I tell you! *vaguely wonders where her brain has gone. Maybe off to the big opera house in the sky*

EEEEEE! The DVD of Phantom is coming out April 28th! THANK GOD. I could not have waited until 2006, I would have gone insane and kicked off to the big opera house in the sky.

Okay...I have not yet written the next part of Unspoken Secrets, There's No Returning My Blood.

I spent a ton of today studying my Anatomy for the exam on Tuesday, and so I was totally worn out by the time I came home for work. But I do have a strong sense of the story, and I should have it written tommrrow, although I may not be able to post it til late that night, as I have to work from 3-9.

Oh! Today at work, I lost like, 6 quarts of blood. No kidding. Why, you ask? Well, contrary to popular belief, I was not juggling knives, threatening an assassin, or attempting to resurrect the Witch of the Golden Pond. (Don't ask). My nose bled for an hour and a half today. Because of that, I don't feel so hot.

Okay, actually I feel very warm, and I think I'll be going to bed soon. But you know what I mean.

In the meantime...Finding Neverland has finally shown up around here, and I'm going to see it with a friend on Sunday. We'll just pretend I haven't seen it twice already, shall we?

And I believe I have found a writer better than Gaston Leroux. You can find her in my memories, and she has written The Phantom of the Opera from Christine's point of view, which is very different. Needless to say, Christine and Erik wind up together. But this woman has an excellent grasp of the Victorian tongue, and I suggest you read it even if you're only interested in Victorian culture.

Okay...since I am EXTREMELY stressed about my upcoming A&P exam...Jenny has suggested I make an anagram and song for what seems to be my biggest weakness: The 11 organ systems of the human body.

So here we go...and please, feel free to ignore this if anatomy and anatomy wording makes you uncomfortable.

ISMNECLRDUR= Integumentary, Skeletal, Muscular, Nervous, Endocrine, Cardiovascular, Lymphatic, Respiratory, Digestive, Urinary, Reproductive.

Thanks to Jenny (Goddess of Word Patterns), this translates into the phrase= Is Mine Clear During? Exactly what's clear and when isn't certain, but that's not my problem. Talk to Miss Mind-in-the-Gutter (aka Goddess of Word Patterns).

If I just needed to know the 11 systems, I'd be okay. But no, A&P appears to be a subtle form of mind torture. They want us to think like DOCTORS. So I also get to know the COMPONENTS of each system. Fun!

So...Hence the song.

I=skin, epidermis, dermis
S= bone, cartilege, ligaments, red bone marrow
M= skeletal muscles, tendons, smooth muscle, cardiac muscle
N=brain, spinal cord, cranial & spinal nerves, sensory receptors
E= endocrine glands parathyroid, pituitory, thyroid, adrenal, pancreas, pineal, ovaries, testes
C=heart, arteries, veins, capillaries, spleen, blood
L=lymphoid tissues, lymphatic vessels, lymph, lymphnodes
R=nasal cavity, nasophargynx, larnyx, trachea, bronchi, lungs
D=mouth, pharynx esophogus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, salivary glands, liver, pancreas
U=kidneys, uterus, urinary bladder, uretha
R=testes, scrotum, vasa deferentia, uretha, accessory glands, penis, ovaries, uterine tubes, uterus, vagina.

I can't think of a song that would work...so we're back to cold memorization.

Goddess help me.

Well! Today went really well. I just had a good day.

I have an Anatomy exam coming up on Jan. 25th, a French exam on the 24th, and a Public Speaking exam on the 11th of February. And I have everything firmly in hand. I'm not behind on anything; indeed, I'm ahead on most everything.

Even though the French exam is first, it's Anat. that has me the most. It's a lot of information, but I've been studying for well over a week now, and I feel fairly confident. This last weekend will be a review of everything, brushing up on the different systems, and a study of the chemical diversities--pH, positive and negative feedback, and ionic and covalent bonds.

As for French...I've got it down pat. I'll run through it again this weekend, but I know it very well.

The Public Speaking exam is still in the reading stages, as it covers 6 chapters. Plus, I have a speech in that class to give. Since the theme of the semester is money, my first speech is going to cover the types of credit cards available for college students.

In Creative Writing, I've got to do a short fiction piece. But how short is short? That is the question.

Oh! And now...

ANIME UPDATES!

I am going to MTAC 2005. Yes, I am. And my costumes....

Hara Kimi--Hara (in her very short dress and very sexy thigh high boots)

Shaman King--Marion (because she so totally rocks)

Noir--Kirika (The assassination uniform! Go me!)

The Silver Alliance--Seii de Loren (In her assassination uniform, which is VERY different, trust me)

And really, that's all the updates.

Off to Cosplay.com to fool around until work,
Me
