EEEEEE! The DVD of Phantom is coming out April 28th! THANK GOD. I could not have waited until 2006, I would have gone insane and kicked off to the big opera house in the sky.

Okay...I have not yet written the next part of Unspoken Secrets, There's No Returning My Blood.

I spent a ton of today studying my Anatomy for the exam on Tuesday, and so I was totally worn out by the time I came home for work. But I do have a strong sense of the story, and I should have it written tommrrow, although I may not be able to post it til late that night, as I have to work from 3-9.

Oh! Today at work, I lost like, 6 quarts of blood. No kidding. Why, you ask? Well, contrary to popular belief, I was not juggling knives, threatening an assassin, or attempting to resurrect the Witch of the Golden Pond. (Don't ask). My nose bled for an hour and a half today. Because of that, I don't feel so hot.

Okay, actually I feel very warm, and I think I'll be going to bed soon. But you know what I mean.

In the meantime...Finding Neverland has finally shown up around here, and I'm going to see it with a friend on Sunday. We'll just pretend I haven't seen it twice already, shall we?

And I believe I have found a writer better than Gaston Leroux. You can find her in my memories, and she has written The Phantom of the Opera from Christine's point of view, which is very different. Needless to say, Christine and Erik wind up together. But this woman has an excellent grasp of the Victorian tongue, and I suggest you read it even if you're only interested in Victorian culture.

Quick update:

Am scribbling steadily. And by steadily, I mean a story every day. It's turning into a series, called Unspoken Secrets, and I hope to have it finished by late February. If you want to check it out, it's at http://aria.phoenixfyre.net/. Under Kelaina. I only have about three more stories, plus the epilogue, which I scribbled tonight while at work.

I have a speech due Monday, a French exam Monday night, and an Anatomy exam on Tuesday. This grade better be better than my last one (I got a B, for those who care).

As for cons:

I want to go to MTAC, but without the usual crowd, it doesn't feel the same, so I'm undecided. I have yet to cut out the cloak I need, or start work on either of my gowns, but I'm not worried, I have until April.
*looks foward to having her elbows uncovered and her ankles scandalously exposed*

Nothing much else to report. I've been so busy I really don't have time to breathe.

Okay...since I am EXTREMELY stressed about my upcoming A&P exam...Jenny has suggested I make an anagram and song for what seems to be my biggest weakness: The 11 organ systems of the human body.

So here we go...and please, feel free to ignore this if anatomy and anatomy wording makes you uncomfortable.

ISMNECLRDUR= Integumentary, Skeletal, Muscular, Nervous, Endocrine, Cardiovascular, Lymphatic, Respiratory, Digestive, Urinary, Reproductive.

Thanks to Jenny (Goddess of Word Patterns), this translates into the phrase= Is Mine Clear During? Exactly what's clear and when isn't certain, but that's not my problem. Talk to Miss Mind-in-the-Gutter (aka Goddess of Word Patterns).

If I just needed to know the 11 systems, I'd be okay. But no, A&P appears to be a subtle form of mind torture. They want us to think like DOCTORS. So I also get to know the COMPONENTS of each system. Fun!

So...Hence the song.

I=skin, epidermis, dermis
S= bone, cartilege, ligaments, red bone marrow
M= skeletal muscles, tendons, smooth muscle, cardiac muscle
N=brain, spinal cord, cranial & spinal nerves, sensory receptors
E= endocrine glands parathyroid, pituitory, thyroid, adrenal, pancreas, pineal, ovaries, testes
C=heart, arteries, veins, capillaries, spleen, blood
L=lymphoid tissues, lymphatic vessels, lymph, lymphnodes
R=nasal cavity, nasophargynx, larnyx, trachea, bronchi, lungs
D=mouth, pharynx esophogus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, salivary glands, liver, pancreas
U=kidneys, uterus, urinary bladder, uretha
R=testes, scrotum, vasa deferentia, uretha, accessory glands, penis, ovaries, uterine tubes, uterus, vagina.

I can't think of a song that would work...so we're back to cold memorization.

Goddess help me.

Well! Today went really well. I just had a good day.

I have an Anatomy exam coming up on Jan. 25th, a French exam on the 24th, and a Public Speaking exam on the 11th of February. And I have everything firmly in hand. I'm not behind on anything; indeed, I'm ahead on most everything.

Even though the French exam is first, it's Anat. that has me the most. It's a lot of information, but I've been studying for well over a week now, and I feel fairly confident. This last weekend will be a review of everything, brushing up on the different systems, and a study of the chemical diversities--pH, positive and negative feedback, and ionic and covalent bonds.

As for French...I've got it down pat. I'll run through it again this weekend, but I know it very well.

The Public Speaking exam is still in the reading stages, as it covers 6 chapters. Plus, I have a speech in that class to give. Since the theme of the semester is money, my first speech is going to cover the types of credit cards available for college students.

In Creative Writing, I've got to do a short fiction piece. But how short is short? That is the question.

Oh! And now...

ANIME UPDATES!

I am going to MTAC 2005. Yes, I am. And my costumes....

Hara Kimi--Hara (in her very short dress and very sexy thigh high boots)

Shaman King--Marion (because she so totally rocks)

Noir--Kirika (The assassination uniform! Go me!)

The Silver Alliance--Seii de Loren (In her assassination uniform, which is VERY different, trust me)

And really, that's all the updates.

Off to Cosplay.com to fool around until work,
Me
